| REAL FACTS ABOUT YOUR ANGELS |
1. An angel is a messenger – a created being – a sent one
2. They are an agent God sends forth to execute His purposes
3. Angels are ministering spirits: minister: to aid, to help, to assist
4. Another word for ministering spirits is “to do service, attendant”
5. They are commissioned to protect God’s people
6. They are spirits. They have no material body but they look like humans. They can assume the
human form.
7. They are not to be worshipped
8. In the Bible, angels are always spoken of in the masculine gender. There seem to be no female angels
9. Angels never die
10. They have super-human intelligence and power
11. They always seem to be spoken of as very big, tall. Their height seems to range between 14’
and taller.
12. Angels have knowledge of and are interested in earthly affairs
13. They warn of danger
14. They only declare God’s word
15. In their physical interaction with humans, their first words seem to be, “fear not”
16. Their function is to carry out God’s word in the life of God’s people
17. They rejoice over a repentant sinner
18. Angels belong to God’s heavenly court and service
19. Their mission in heaven is to praise God
20. They lead people toward salvation
21. There are so many angels, we are unable to number them
22. Signs and wonders follow angels
23. Angel's are sent forth as ministering spirits to minister to heirs of salvation.
24. As children, we have angels which are popularly called "guardian angels" but actually are just
those same ministering spirits.
25. God gave His angels the assignment of guarding us - to keep us safe in everything we do.
26. God sends angels before us, to keep you safe and bring you to the place He prepared for you -
some place God wanted you to be.
27. They also camp around those of us who "fear" (reverence) God and deliver us from trouble.
28. They can work physical acts in our natural world - they shut the lions' mouths for Daniel so they
didn't hurt him
29. Angels only promote the good news of Jesus and give God the glory - otherwise they are not
from God.
30. They can be sent to kill someone who does not give God the glory (this was this [Herod's]
man's lifestyle - not a one time mistake).
31. Angels can manifest (make themselves seen) to us - you may have entertained them unaware
when you entertained a stranger - helped someone.
32. Animals can see angels - remember Balaam's donkey. He also opened the spiritual eyes of
Balaam so he also saw the angel his donkey saw.
33. There are an innumerable (unable to number) companies (armies) of angels.
34. Jesus alone could have called 12 legions of angels. Legion is an army of 20,000 - so He could
have called down 240,000 angels to help him.
35. How do angels work for us? Psalms 103:20 - they excel in strength when they do his
commandments - they listen to the voice of His Word. How do they hear the voice of His Word?
WE have to give it voice - to quote the scriptures. They are ONLY activated by the Word of God,
not negative confessions.
36. Ecclesiastes 5:6 is very strong in stating that you should NOT allow your mouth to cause your
flesh to sin - don't say in front of your angel, "I made a mistake, I didn't mean that" Negative
confessions stop your angels and cause the manifestation of what you are believing for to come
to a complete stop.
37. Seraphim are mentioned one time (Isa. 6:2). They seem to be copper in color and stand tall
above God, ready to minister to him and were the ones sent to inflict the penalty of sin (probably
who was sent to Herod).
38. Cheribum were set to guard Eden and the Tree of Life. They form and support the throne of God.
The Ark of the Covenant rested beneath their wings. They seem also to have the image of several
animals. They were mostly spoken of as figures embroidered on the walls in the tabernacle, the Ark
of the Covenant, Ezekiel’s vision of temple.
