The Benefits of
Tithing
Tithing is a divine principle ordained by God for the believer's benefit.  It was established so that we can reap
a harvest of financial security and many, many more benefits.  The tithe is a "covenant connector" with God.
He made many promises to us about finances; they are all connected to our obedience in the Tithe.

Tithing is not an option, suggestion or recommendation. It is a command from God (Lev. 27:30-32; Mal. 3:10).

Tithing is evidence that your faith and trust are in God as your total source of total supply (Heb. 11:6).

Tithing releases God's financial provision and financial protection upon your life
(Mal. 3:10-11; Job 36:11).

Tithing is the biblical practice of giving God the first ten-percent of your total income (Lev. 27:32).   The
word "tithe" means 10 percent, a tenth part.

Tithing was the practice of Jesus and He endorsed it in the New Testament
(Matt. 23:23).

Tithing was the practice of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and all the great (and wealthy) men and women of the
Bible (Gen. 14:18-20; Gen. 28:20-22).

Failing to tithe makes you a thief, a person who robs God.  It closes the windows of heaven over your life.  It
also means the devourer (satan) is not rebuked in your life (Mal. 3:7-11).

Failing to tithe opens the door for the curse of lack to operate in your finances
(Mal. 3:8-9).

Tithing is an attitude of gratitude that says "Thank You" to the Lord.  It is a way to show him your
appreciation for all the wonderful gifts He has given you
(Deut. 26:10,11; Ps. 96:4-8).

Tithing is proof of your love for and obedience to God, and grants you access to God's best (Isa. 1:19; Matt.
6:33).

Tithing is the key that opens the windows of heaven! You cannot be blessed with a closed heaven (Mal.
3:10; Prov. 3:9-10).

Tithing is an act of worship and is holy unto the Lord. The tithe is "Holy Seed"
(Lev. 27:30).
