People believe that a REAL man is the world's view of a macho, masculine, womanizer who
mistreats women and uses them like tissue. That's not a man, it is simply a male. Other's believe
that a godly man is a wimp and a weenie who couldn't stand up to a bully if that bully threatened his
family. That's also not a man, it's a male. Both sets of people are wrong. Once you find out what
a real man is, you will want to avoid the world's (and church's) COUNTERFEIT at all costs.
Trust me, there are very few "real men" but they are out there (and they grow in number every day
because of the ministries strictly available to men that are popping up everywhere). I think on the
whole there are more males than men on earth! Satan has spent years deceiving males into
believing that the world's idea of a man is the real thing.
Think about it. The worldly male lives in front of the television plopped down in an easy chair,
slurping and burping beer and issuing orders to the little woman. Their burning desire can be to
watch sports, hunt, fish, and work on cars, boats, motorcycles - you know, those manly things that
women should be excluded from.
They pride themselves on being macho. Some males don't want to work at a job that will demean
them so they'd rather sleep on the couch while their little woman supports the family. He says that
he is finding himself. He feels led to stay home and "study the Word" and allow the family to suffer
and starve. (Note: this ONLY works when God tells you to do this, He is you total source of supply
- and there is proof by there being supply. If you are out of His will because you don't WANT to get
a job, you are in BIG trouble.)
Then there's the guy who wants to be excluded from all responsibility - such as supporting his
children when he's divorced. Or a worldly male can be one who is a great provider, works, is
responsible - and has no relationship with God. He leaves it all up to the little woman because
religion is woman's stuff.
Don't all these men make you want to rush out and find one immediately? Yeah, right. Like author
Ed Cole's book “Maximized Manhood” indicates, woman are tired of wimps; and all these males
listed above are wimps. Women just want a male to be a man. And don't think just because a male
goes to church that means he will do. Because if he has no real relationship with God, he can be
your worst nightmare.
Some Christian males are so judgmental that you could never fit into all the little rules and
regulations he has laid out for being a Christian. If he has no foundation and knowledge, he will
basically act like a world male. You need to study and show yourself approved (2 Tim 2:15) so that
you will know a real man when you meet one. Find out what God has to say about relationships
and marriage and men.
