Salvation is a gift made available to those who repent (change your heart, think differently, reconsider your
life), believe and confess that Jesus is Lord, and that He died and rose from the dead to save you . People
tend to think that we are "sinners" meaning a person who is evil and harmful. That's incorrect - nope,
being without Jesus is evil and harmful.
And once you believe, you will feel such lightness and freedom. You are a brand new person. It doesn't
matter what you were or did before, you can change your life and everything about it by simply asking
Jesus into your heart.
This gift cannot be earned through good deeds or by simply being "good". It is a matter of faith, acting on
what you believe according to God's Word concerning salvation.

Pray this prayer:
Lord Jesus, I ask You to come into my life and forgive me of all my sins. I confess my sins before You this
day. I denounce satan and all his works. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life.

What just happened?
Now the fun begins. Where people get into trouble is to think that asking Jesus into your heart is all there
is. That is only the FIRST step. Your destiny changed - you are no longer going to hell.
We are made up of a Spirit (which is who we are), a Soul (our mind, our will and our emotions) and a Body
(what everyone else sees).* Your Spirit is made brand new. You changed masters from the devil to Jesus.
Yes, you did - you see, it is that simple - if you don't serve Jesus you automatically serve the devil even if
you don't know it. Sort of like the telephone company when it used to say, "Choose a long distance carrier
or one will be chosen for you." Chose Jesus or the enemy is automatically chosen for you.
The next step is to renew your mind - the way you think and act. You will discover that although you don't
WANT to act the way you used to, you will. You can fight it for awhile, but what is inside you needs to be
reprogrammed. That is done by reading the Bible (the Word) and listening to good faith-based Bible
teaching.** Check out the Links page for a list of trustworthy ministries who teach the un-compromised
Word of God. Stay away from people and ministries who judge others and say "this isn't true and that is
false teaching and we are here to protect you" Trust me, God can take great care of you and keep you
away from things that are not good for you.
The third step is to get filled with the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost. "WHAT," you say? Sounds spooky, doesn't
it? It isn't - it is so vital for today, the time we live in, especially for safety and provision. Jesus called Him a
"Comforter" in the Bible - or an advocate, intercessor, consoler. He comes to help you live the full, joyous
life Jesus died on the cross for you to have.
The Trinity - The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost - are very real and very separate. Some people call
Him Holy Spirit, some call Him Holy Ghost. It doesn't matter! What is important is that He is not an IT. You
can't live well without Him!

Until I learned there was that third step and did this step, my life was a mess. Oh sure, I was "saved" and
going to heaven but my life here on earth was a total train wreck. Once I learned that there was Someone
who wanted to help me in every area of my life, everything changed. The Comforter is there to guide you,
lead you, remind you, and anything you need to operate prosperously here on this earth, Spirit, Soul and
Body.

Now - no matter what you FEEL like, you are saved (born again) and are a new person in Jesus. Get into a
Bible and read something every day, and take advantage of the resources available through the links
page. Those ministries are sound and there is an abundance of information available to help you.
Also - let someone know you accepted Jesus as your Saviour! Find a good Word church and sit under good
teaching. If you can't find a church you are comfortable with in the beginning, try an E-Church such as
www.moorelife.org or www.emic.org. Both churches offer live services on Sunday mornings. While it is
very important to get into a good church, it is also vital to your new life to get under that good teaching.
The Word is what will change your life.
There are inexpensive Bible CD's available at places like Walmart, K Mart, Staples - that only cost around
$10. Buy one because they are very handy when you are studying, trying to find information about specific
topics or to find a particular scripture.
