Today's Musing is going to be very simple. It came to me because of all the polishing of silver I've been spending
time doing lately.
This is your life before you meet Jesus:
Stained, rusty, dark, dreary, and worthless.
This is your life after you meet Jesus:
Shiny, useful, beautiful, and worth being paid the most expensive price for, ever - Jesus.
As we go through life, we might find ourselves slipping up in some areas. We may doubt God will provide for a
need we have. We may get into strife with co-workers or loved ones. We may tell a lie, do something we're
ashamed of, blow it.
All things that tarnish our shine a little.
So, if we will apply the silver polish - the Word of God - and allow it to wash us and renew our minds to doing
things God's way, we will soon be shiny, useful and beautiful again. We are always worth having been paid for!
And as we keep ourselves polished up with the Word of God, God will:
Put is in our place - that place we are of most use to Him, . Using our gifts and talents He put in us. A bright,
shining Light for God's goodness.
