How would you feel if someone came up to you and said, "Your father is a no good bum.  He's a thief,
he's dishonest, his word is no good, he lies, and he means one thing and says another.  How can you
You'd get pretty mad, wouldn't you?  Maybe want to take a punch at that person?  Especially when you
know it isn't true?  When you know your father is just, honest, fair, could never lie, means what he says,
and has given you so much so that you could be have a great life?  Wouldn't you want to shut them
up?

Well, that's how I feel when people say my Father God lies when He says He will give us long life and I
hear another supposedly uplifting testimony about someone who died young but "kept the faith to the
bitter end."  They believe this person was a testimony of faith because of their ability to believe my
Father made them sick and people were saved because of their death.  That's how I feel when they say
my Father kills and takes babies or young people home to be in heaven with Him because He was
lonely or needed another "little angel".

That's how I feel when they say my Father puts sickness on you to teach you a lesson.  That's how I
feel when they say poverty causes you to develop real faith and meekness.

That's how I feel every time I hear a lie about my Father.

It takes more faith to believe in a god who would do all those terrible things and expect you to blindly
follow him, than it takes to believe in a loving God.  Yet people chose time and time again to believe a
lie about my Father God.

It doesn't even make sense.  You really have to work at it to keep faith in someone who is so capricious.
You have to force yourself to follow someone who, on a whim, takes anyone he wants to heaven,
anytime he wants, any horrible way he wants, even when his Word promises long life.  How do these
people do it?

They certainly have something I don't have.  This unbelievable faith in someone who steals, kills,
destroys, lies, and hurts you is beyond my understanding - especially when it is the total opposite of
what the Bible says my Father is.  Know the awful thing?  It is the description of our enemy, the Devil.
That is who these people have faith in.

Boy, have we bought into a lie.  We have chosen to believe centuries of preachers who lied to us for
whatever reason rather than go to the Bible and find out what God has to say about it.  Can you
imagine what it makes Him feel like to know that someone believes He would do all these horrible things
but says, "Oh well, I love you anyway, God, even if you took my baby home to be your little angel.  I
know your ways are mysterious and you're testing and building my faith."

Yuck.  It doesn't work that way with me.  Call me a liar when I'm not lying and I get pretty upset.  It hurts
when someone I think should know me intimately would think I could do something horrible to hurt
another person.  Thank God, He's more merciful than we are!   It's easy to have faith in my Father, who
is a good Father, who gives good things, and who loves me unconditionally.

Joy is knowing our Father God has provided EVERYTHING we need to live a prosperous, healthy, well
cared for life here on earth.  He has promised to always give us over and above all we ask or think.  He
has promised to not only put us on the right pathway, but that this pathway is full of prosperity, joy, and
pleasant riches!

Who wouldn't want to follow a Father who is that way?  Don't be one of the many who believe religious
traditions and lies about your loving Father!  Study to show yourself approved!
