Years ago during a whine and worry time before God about my son, not only did God rebuke me
for whining and worrying, but He pointed out to me that I apparently knew nothing about The
Blessing He had placed on my "seed" (son).  He had me look up scriptures about offspring and
seed.

You will notice that the referenced scriptures in Isaiah & Genesis mentions that God WILL pour
out His Spirit and blessing on your children, and that His covenant is an everlasting covenant.
Forever.  It doesn't say "only if they do everything right."

Deuteronomy 30:19 states, "...I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:
therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live..."  I was not choosing life when it
came to my son; I was choosing to magnify my son's mistakes rather than speaking life over him.

Ask him!  He'll tell you how I used to harangue him about "you need to do this, you should be
doing that."   Rather than point out to him what I thought he was doing wrong, I should have been
speaking the Word of God over him, simply loving & enjoying him and stick my nose back in my
own walk with God.

I repented and began to speak blessings over him.  I speak prosperity, health, walking upright
before God, long life, safety, angels ministering to him, etc.  I no longer speak what he was doing.
I speak life.  I find scriptures and speak what God says about him.  I speak the end result of what
he should be - walking in the fullness of the Blessing of God (Psalm 16:11 for one; Deut. 33:23
AMP).

The enemy stopped talking to me about my son because I've quit listening.  You'd be amazed
how it changed my relationship with my son.  You see, even our mistakes are NONE OF THE
DEVIL'S BUSINESS.  When you fret, worry and whine over your kids, you are listening to the
wrong voice.

Speak the Word of God over your children all the days of their life!

References Scriptures:

Isa 44:3   ...I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
Gen 17:7   And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting
covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
Prov. 18: 21. Death and life are in the gift of the tongue; those who indulge it must eat (or live by) the fruit it yields.
