Sometime in the 1980's, I learned a valuable bit of information that helped my faith grow and
be stronger. It's a really simple bit:
IF YOU HAVE A PLAN B, THEN PLAN TO USE YOUR PLAN B.
Over the years, I have discovered this to be true time and time again. Let's take healing for
instance.
Plan A: the Bible states clearly that it is always God's will to heal us of anything that attacks
our body and mind. A check of the New Testament shows Jesus healed ALL who were
oppressed with sickness and disease. The only people He could not heal are those with a
Plan B.
Plan B: "Well, if He doesn't heal me, I'll go to the doctor on Monday." The little word "if" is the
indicator. Plan B is an indication of a lack of faith. You may as well go ahead and make your
doctor appointment.
Plan B: "If the money doesn't come in, I'll go to the bank and get a loan." You may as well go
get the loan now because you are not in faith.
Plan A: "The Bible says God is my source of all supply. I will believe God no matter what it
looks like." Faith says what the Bible says about the situation. The person who does that will
be willing to stand in the face of all nay-saying voices.
God did not say, "Faith is going by what it looks like." No. Faith does not look to natural
symptoms and facts. It may be a fact that you have sickness but the Truth of the matter is, "By
His stripes, you are healed."
Anytime you make preparation for failure, you will have failure. God doesn't have a Plan B.
His Plan has always been yes and amen, so be it, and it's yours. He already provided
everything you need to be a success in this life. Your job is to find it in the Bible, grab hold of
it, believe it and receive it by speaking it aloud and standing until it manifests.
