At the beginning of 2008, there was a prophetic Word that came forth about how 2008 will be a year of extremes
(click here for entire prophecy). Complacency and spiritual lethargy are no longer viable lifestyle options if we
Christian.
We are going to be seeing more extremes in 2008. People will be extremely blessed or extremely cursed, one
side or the other. People who used to straddle the "God and world fence" will find themselves on the world side
by default. It is a year of extremes and the choice as to what side we will be on in 2008 is in our hands right now.
There was a time a few years back when we had to choose a long distance carrier for our telephone service.
The telephone company said to us, "If you don't make a choice, one will be made for you." Those who didn't
choose a plan were assigned one regardless of which plan they may have wanted. By not making a choice, they
left it up to the telephone company to choose for them.
We have to make choices today. The extremes we experience in our life from this point forward will be a direct
result of choices we make right now. We will either be extremely blessed or extremely in a lot of trouble! If we
don't choose to walk more fully in the things of God, the choice to be extremely blessed will be taken out of our
hands and by default, we will experience the opposite.
We may have to give up some of the world's things in order to walk in that fullness of blessing. We may have to
make some changes and work on our obedience to the things of God... tithing anyone? Get into a good Word
church? Read your Bible daily? Pray in tongues every day? Walk away from the television and spend more
time with God?
We are not in a time where we have many options. This sliver of time where we can still change the extreme we
experience is short. There is swiftly coming the time we won't have that choice any more because time as we
know it is running out. We can't play anymore. It is time to decide which side of the extremes we are going to be
on - before the choice is taken out of our hands.
This is good news! We still have time today to become extremely sold out to the things of God. We just need to
get more into Him than we are into the things of the world! It is time to dedicate our lives and time to Him. It is
time to do things His way and not the way of the world.
God choice is for you to be extremely blessed in 2008. What is your choice?
